Feedback of exhibitors and visitors to the 28th edition of the Elektro International Exhibition for Electrical Equipment, Lighting Engineering and Building Automation ectro-2019 held at the Expocentre Fairgrounds on April 15–18, 2019:
Evgeny Oistacher, EKF Senior Partner:
"We've been working with Elektro since 2003. We started with a small stand. Further, thanks to Elektro, our business has received a new impetus every year. Our sales are growing, and we are obtaining new customers. I still remember my first distributors that I met here. These are mainly regional companies. Many regions are represented here, and I like it very much.
Elektro is the only professional platform in Russia that is dedicated to electrical engineering. In fact, there is no alternative to it. That is why we are here every year. And every year our stand is expanding. We participated in Elektro even in the crisis years of 2008, 2012, 2014.
We value this exhibition for the fact that there are both distributors and a pool of design institutes, whose specialists come here to get acquainted with the latest electrical products. Representatives of the so-called sub-dealers – owners of stores, electrical installation organisations also come to visit us. Elektro is very dear to us and very suitable for us. We even look at it as our "out office", where we can receive a huge number of regional clients, show them all our new products and developments, discuss working nuances. I personally attend each exhibition for at least the first three days, and I think that every manager that is interested in business growth should do it."
Yulia Raichuk, Development and Marketing Director at ZETA:
"It took us quite a while to take the decision to participate in the exhibition, because we thought that it was not exactly our business area. We are engaged in electrical installation products, and here electrical engineering is represented, which is much broader. But still we decided to try. And if we are to assess it now, on the third day of the exhibition, when we have two more days ahead, I can say that the exhibition is really large-scale, a large number of companies are represented here, including our existing and potential customers. In addition, Elektro is co-located with the Neftegaz exhibition, which made it possible to cover a wide range of customers in this market. To my mind, the exhibition is one of the most important events of this year."
