POST - RELEASE of the 19th International Exhibition - ELEKTRO’2010 and the 8th International Exhibition – ElektroTechnoExpo’2010

On June  7-10, 2010 Elektro’2010 – the 19th  International Exhibition for Electrical Equipment for Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics, Energy- and Resource-Saving Technologies; Household Electric Appliances  took place in pavilions of the Expocentre Fairgrounds.  At the same time Expocentre held ElektroTechnoExpo’2010 - the 8th Specialized Exhibition for Energy-Saving Technologies and Innovative Developments.   It enabled to combine interests of two basic branches of the Russian economy – the electrical engineering and the power industry in one place.   

The importance of the electrical shows for the domestic industrial market development and the innovative products advance are confirmed by prestigious labels of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) and the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF) as well as by the patronage of the Russian Federation Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Moscow City Government once again.    

Elektro, the major branch-wise event of the country demonstrated the latest achievements of the electrical industry, the state of the industry global trends and the Russian electrotechnical market development trends in full measure. 

This year 488 companies from 21 countries showed their products on the floor space of 8 411 sq meters net.  At the Show the following national expositions were traditionally arranged:  German Association of Electronics and Electrical Equipment Manufacturers – ZVEI organized an exposition of Germany; Association AFME brought companies from Spain.  The Chinese exposition was very large. It included companies from the main provinces of the country.   Ministry of Industry and Commerce of the Czech Republic presented a joint booth of companies from Czechia. Moreover, the exposition of Italian electrical products manufacturers was arranged by Expocentre Italy for the first time.

Such major global electrical engineering market-makers as ABB, EAE Elektrica, Efapel, Finder, Kaiser, Klemsan, Lovato Electric, Mesan Kilit, PUK-WERKE, Riello, SEZ Plaset, T. Plast, Weidmuller,Wago Contact and many other companies and organizations  participated in the  Elektro’2010 Show.

The ElektroTechnoExpo’2010 exposition demonstrated a whole range of electrical industry products. Companies from Bulgaria, Russia and Ukraine took part in the Exhibition. They called the visitors’ attention to energy-saving and innovative technologies in the field of the energy-saving allowing increasing energy-effectiveness of the country economy.  

Elektro’2010 and ElektroTechnoExpo’2010 were attended by 16 170 specialists of the electrical industry.

Issues relating to application of nonconventional power sources were discussed within the frameworks of the 7th International Conference ‘Renewable and Small Power Engineering’.  

Within the exhibitions Ministry of Industry and Commerce of the Czech Republic with the assistance of ‘Interelektro’ and ‘Interelektromash’ International Associations, and Czech-Moravian Electrical Association held a seminar on co-operation in the field of electrical engineering and electronics.
