The 27th International Exhibition for Electrical Equipment, Lighting Engineering and Building Automation

Elektro 2018 was co-located with a major event in the oil and gas industry, the 18th edition of the Neftegaz International Exhibition for Equipment and Technologies for the Oil and Gas Industry and the National Oil and Gas Forum. The synergy of these projects created a high-profile show of oil and gas and electrical equipment, raised the level and scope of business meetings, and increased the number of professional visitors.

Supporting Events

Elektro 2018 offered professionals a new format of business events. Each exhibition day was aimed at different target groups. It corresponded to the interests, requirements, and demands of the Elektro participants and visitors and increased the trade show's effectiveness.

Day One. Manufacturer Day  

The program was opened with the Plenary Session on Smart Energy of the Future: New Approach to Technologies That Change the World, organized by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Expocentre AO and National Oil and Gas Forum ANO.

The Foresight Session on Electric Cars and New Infrastructure attracted special attention.

The first day also included the Foresight Session on Factory in the Industry 4.0 Concept, the Expert Session on Development and Implementation of Export Strategy of Russian Electric Companies, the business lunch for marketing managers of electric companies "Choosing the Right Marketing Tools and Communication Channels for the Electric Market".  

Day Two. Customer Day

The main event of the second day was the Purchasing Centre. Representatives of Russia's largest companies – Rosseti, RZD, Roszheldorsnab, Transenergo, Mosenergosbyt, MosoblEnergo, Lukoil-Energoseti and others – showed their potential suppliers their purchasing activities and procedures, consulted on preparations for procedures for bids and offers submitted for participation in procurements, and held a pre-qualification of suppliers of electrical equipment. 

Interelectromash and Expocenrtre AO held  the 9th International Conference – Elmash 2018:  Electric Power Industry and Electrical Engineering. Problems and Prospects.

CEO of Ruselprom Stanislav Masyutin presented the Industry 4.0. concept in the electrical industry. Representatives of  the Ivanovo State Power Engineering University, R&D Cogebi (Czechia), NIPTIEM, Proton-Electrotex, Power Machinery, Superplast, Turbine Technology AAEM, Elinar, etc., has presentations of advanced technology, new materials, equipment and devices. 

The 15th International Conference on Renewable and Small-Power Energy 2018. Energy Efficiency. Autonomous Systems of Electricity Supply of Mobile Objects and On-Site Facilities was organized by the Renewable Energy Committee of RosSNIO.

The Conference on New Technologies for Reliable Power Supply was devoted to efficiency of electrical equipment, optimization of safety, automation and management of power facilities, and development of smart electric power metering systems.

Day Three. Designer Day

The third day was opened with the Conference on Design and Construction of Power Supply Systems.  ­

Other events included the Conference on Introduction of Advanced Methods for Design of Russian Electrical Machinery, various expert sessions, workshops and master classes for wiring assembly and installations.

Day Four. Youth Day

The day featured competitions of student teams, a presentation of training simulators for electrical personnel, a talk show, a career centre, and an award ceremony for competition winners.

The award ceremony of the Electroreklama 2018 competition for the best advertising and PR solutions in the electrical industry was organized by the Market of Electrical Engineering Magazine with support of Expocentre AO.
